Excellent. There is a fantastic Art exhibition there at the moment by Bargoed Art Society, definitely worth seeing.

Smashing little museum of local history that is well worth a visit. The old winding engine is incredibly impressive. There is a really lovely coffee shop / gift shop. I visited with a friend who is a wheelchair user & the Winding House is completely wheelchair friendly.
1st time visitor and with only 30 mins to go b4 closing. Intention was just to get a drink but stayed and enjoyed a quick look around - impressed and will come back when I have a bit more time. Good little gift shop and friendly staff also.
What a lovely look back into our local heritage. It gives you an idea of what the mines were like. My grandson who is only 3 really enjoyed it. We had a lovely cup of tea in the caf. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A lovely morning and all the exhibits free to see. I would highly recommend
